My love of art began at a very young age and it was seldom that there was not a pencil or pen in my hand, drawing and sketching. I took every art class I could in school. In college my major was psychology though I still took some art studio classes. My career has been in vocational counseling and that has required me to lead workshops related to self-esteem, life skills, job search, networking and much more. Meanwhile, I have continued my interest in art, painting watercolors for about 15 years and recently began incorporating collage elements into my paintings. This came about as a result of taking a painting workshop from local artist, Susan Cornelis. I have adapted this fun technique for spiritual workshops of my own and now offer these to various groups.
